Bean Point is in a very strategic location, at the southern mouth of Tampa Bay. Obviously a long shallow strip north of Bean Point for snook fishing in summer.
The Bulkhead is a well-known fishing spot in South Tampa Bay. It is basically a shallow sandy area at the mouth of Anna Maria Sound.
Emerson Point is another excellent and strategically located fishing spot. It is located at a point between the mouth of the Manatee River to the south.
The Manatee River offers excellent fishing from the mouth of Tampa Bay to the Manatee Lake Dam on Snead Island.
Terra Cia Bay is an excellent small estuary that offers great fishing, although it is mostly suitable for fishermen with boats.
The Sunshine Skyway fishing pier is the longest fishing pier in the world. It's on both sides of Tampa Bay.
The Egmont is located right in the middle of the mouth of Tampa Bay. Excellent stream flow and steve drop-offs on either side of the key.
The Tampa Bay Shipping Channel is a great fishing spot! This is especially true in winter and early spring, but fall can be good too.
Causeway passing through Skyway Fishing Pier State Park provides boatless fishermen access to the area's shallow flats.
