Timed Entry Permit Reservation

Once you have made your reservation, you will receive an email confirmation with your reservation ticket. We download reservation tickets prior to arriving at Rocky Mountain National Park.

There are two different access levels for timed entry permits in 2022, access along Bear Lake Road and access without Bear Lake Road. The time slots for these access levels are also different.

You will need a time bound entry permit to access Bear Lake Road between 5 am and 6 pm. Off Bear Lake Road, all you need is a timed entry permit from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Reservations will become available on May 2 at 10 a.m. (MDT) for reservations to enter the park from May 27 through June 30.

Reservation will become available on June 1, at 10 a.m. (MDT) for reservations to enter the park during the month of July

Reservation will become available on July 1, at 10 a.m. (MDT) for reservations to enter the park during the month of August

Reservation will become available on August 1, at 10 a.m. (MDT) for reservations to enter the park during the month of September

Reservation will become available on September 1, at 10 a.m. (MDT) for reservations to enter the park during the month of October

The Hiker Shuttle will operate between the Estes Park Visitor Center and the Bear Lake Park & Ride from May 27 to October 10, 2022.
