The Dingle Peninsula is home to one of Ireland's liveliest towns, a larger than life area with very friendly dolphins and the Sly Head Loop, one of its most scenic coastal routes.
Rounding Sly Head I was surprised to find that I had traveled this path before, though perhaps as a child some thirty years earlier.
This section of the drive has some of the most spectacular ocean views. Headlands and beaches indent the coast, and inland hills rise up to become mountains.
