Best things to do in Petrified Forest National Park

Petrified Forest National Park is in northeastern Arizona. To its south, the Rainbow Forest is full of colorful petrified wood. It is home to the Rainbow Forest Museum, with its paleontology exhibits.

1. TIPONI POINT

This is a very quick stop and your first look at the painted desert hills. This viewpoint is located just past the Visitor Center.
