Thousands Of Flights Have Been Cancelled Across The United States Due To Omicron And Bad Weather.
Travellers in the United States were left scrambling this weekend as an unusually large number of airline delays and cancellations occurred across the country leading up to Monday.
More than 10,000 flights were delayed in the United States, while more than 19,400 were delayed worldwide for those lucky enough to fly on Sunday.
Weather and staffing shortages caused by the extremely dangerous omicron version of the coronavirus are being blamed for the cancellations, according to Reuters.
The problems on Sunday were the latest in a slew of flight cancellations throughout the Christmas season.
