Iggy Azalea Rips Into Miami’s $840M Signature Bridge: “It Looks Like McDonald’s Arches!”

Iggy Azalea has never been one to hold back her opinions — and Miami just felt her sting.

During a livestream with popular streamer N3on, the rapper-turned-crypto-entrepreneur went off on Miami’s controversial Signature Bridge Project. Her words? Brutally honest.

“You know, I think this bridge is f***ing stupid,” she said, pointing to the towering concrete arches that have divided opinions across the city.

“It Looks Like McDonald’s Arches” 🍟

Azalea, who moved to Miami as a teenager chasing her dream, says she doesn’t understand why the city needs this so-called landmark. To her, the billion-dollar arches look more like a fast-food logo than a world-class symbol.

“They just built the bridge because they think Miami needs an iconic bridge,” she explained. “It looks like McDonald’s signs. It looks like McDonald’s arches.”

Locals quickly clipped the viral moment on TikTok, and it’s been spreading like wildfire. Many Miamians agree — the bridge feels more like a vanity project than something the city truly needs.

The $60M Park That Disappeared 🌳

Azalea didn’t stop at jokes. She also brought up the $60 million in lost funding that was supposed to create a community park under the bridge.

Originally, the plan was to reunite Miami’s Overtown neighborhood, which was divided decades ago by I-95. But after federal funding was pulled, the dream park is now off the table.

“So it’s just a random bridge that doesn’t go over water, doesn’t connect to anything, and cost taxpayers a fortune,” Azalea said in frustration.

Miami Reacts 💬

On social media, residents are cheering her for saying out loud what many have been thinking:

  • “Finally, someone famous says it — the bridge is pointless!”
  • “She’s right. Miami already has landmarks. Why waste billions?”
  • “The arches really do look like McDonald’s!”

The Bridge Isn’t Going Anywhere

Despite the backlash, construction will continue. The Florida Department of Transportation recently announced the project won’t be finished until 2029, two years later than planned.

Love her or not, Iggy Azalea has managed to spark a conversation that Miami couldn’t ignore. And judging by the reactions, she might just be speaking for all of us.
